With socks comes shoes. With guns come bullets. With Batman comes Robin, Price and Soap... Godzilla and Kong. These two come hand in hand, and that seems to be no exception in the world of video games.

You can't have Kong without Godzilla, and Call of Duty has recognised that these fabled enemies need to be together to maintain the balance of the universe. That only means one thing for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3...

Warzone looks to be getting a 'Titanus Godzilla' skin

In what appears to be the second half of the Godzilla vs Kong crossover in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, players have found a "Titanus Godzilla" skin appearing in-game.

While flicking through the skins menu and under the Operator "Jabber", players have found the scaly beast's name appear as a brand-new character look. As it's just a week before Season 3 launches, you're putting two and two together.

The skin design itself doesn't appear, but the glitch certainly supports the fact that it will come for Jabber, whose red toy soldier outfit will be their second-most-used rig-up.

The use of Titanus seems to suggest that Godzilla's new look will be its most brutal beastly form yet, in comparison to the futuristic-styled one we got in Vanguard - although being in Jabber's collection could see that red plastic effect translate again.

Don't expect a Godzilla vs Kong 2 event in Warzone

So far, there hasn't been any notion of Godzilla re-joining the series in the formidable state we last saw him in, because you might remember the rampaging reptile and Kong had become boss characters in Warzone's battle royale maps. Still, any new Godzilla skin is an easy way to make more money.

It's more likely the skins will be added for fun, so sadly, it doesn't look like we'll be facing giant monsters on the outskirts of the newly added Rebirth Island 2. With Season 3 just around the corner and the hype of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the former's return would be welcome in the CoDverse.
