The three Gen 9 Pokémon starters seem to be all anyone can talk about. However, as we eagerly await the release of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, one fan has introduced the trio to the world of Animal Crossing.

The first look at the three new starters who will be appearing in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet had a bit of a mixed reaction when they first started to circulate around the internet. However, as the excitement begins to build for the game, so has the eagerness to see more of Grass Cat Sprigatito, Fire Croc Fuecoco, and Duckling Quaxly.

Well, one very talented fan has helped make our dreams come true by giving the exciting trio an Animal Crossing makeover that would even give Harriet's Hair Salon a run for its money.

New Pokémon Starters Get An Animal Crossing Makeover

Reddit user "fentoshops" first premiered their Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly Animal Crossing designs on March 1 announcing "I turned the new Pokémon starters into Animal Crossing villagers!" The image featured the trio transformed from their original 2D forms into fully formed 3D anthropomorphic animals similar to the iconic Animal Crossing characters you could expect to see wandering around your world.

While fentoshops did a fantastic job of making Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly as similar to their original form as possible, they also fashioned the trio some cute outfits to match their style. For example, Quaxly is shown wearing a pale blue shirt with a blue bow tie and braces. Whereas, Sprigatito sports a pink button up jumper.

Has Fentoshops Made Any Other Pokémon As Animal Crossing Characters?

This certainly isn't the first Pokémon and Animal Crossing crossover that fentoshops has created. Alongside Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, fentoshops has given a makeover to many more beloved Pokémon, including Torchic, Combusken, and Blazkien.

However, a quick look at fentoshops' Instagram page would reveal how they have also given a makeover to a variety of characters from famous TV shows and films. For example, Squid Game fans can see some classic Disney characters in Animal Crossing form. Along with the creepy robot doll from Squid Game and Moto Moto from Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

Of course, Animal Crossing, being the most iconic game it is, has had a number of crossovers over the years thanks to the wondrous creations of fans. For instance, ever wondered what The Office would look in Animal Crossing form? Well, you don't have to, thanks to this fan. Or, if you're more of a horror game fan, you can check out how one fan introduced Lady D to Tom Nook
