Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players have labelled The Indigo Disk's Item Printer "broken" after making millions of Pokedollars and stocking up on Master Balls with the new feature.

The Indigo Disk has loads of content to enjoy, including the return of every starter Pokemon and the ability to catch fan-favourite Legendaries, but there's one thing making waves among the community that you might not even have discovered yet: The Item Printer.

Pokemon's Item Printer lets you create Master Balls

Similar to the Cram-o-matic from Pokemon Sword & Shield, the new Item Printer lets trainers convert TM Materials dropped by wild Pokemon into useful items like Evolution Stones, Held Items, and Tera Shards.

When the Item Printer is fully upgraded, it can even print rare Poke Balls including Moon Balls, Sports Balls, Safari Balls, and - most importantly - the iconic Master Balls, which have a 100% catch rate.

In most Pokemon games, it's only been possible to get one or two Master Balls. But with The Indigo Disk's Item Printer, you're able to get loads of them on a single save file.

One trainer took to the Scarlet & Violet subreddit to praise the feature, writing: "This thing is INSANELY OP. I've got like 1M Pokedollars by selling all the treasures I've gotten just by sitting here randomly grinding item pulls just to upgrade it. I love it so much."

Because the Item Printer can print several rare items in a single turn, many trainers are using it to make a small fortune in the game. One wrote: "With some good luck and around 900 BP you can make 2mil pokebucks. It's almost unbelievable."

Another commenter joked, "IRL this machine would be seized by the government, its plans would be turned into classified stuff, and the science club children who created it would be either recruited or closely monitored."

Where can I find the Item Printer in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?

If you want to try the Item Printer out for yourself, you'll first need to purchase the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC expansion. Then, once you've unlocked the Blueberry Academy, head to the League Club Room and donate 200 BP to unlock the Item Printer.

After this, you can start chucking TM Materials into the Item Printer to get yourself a handful of useful items. If you want those rare items like the Master Ball, you'll need to upgrade the machine to its maximum power.
