What's the streaming world without a little drama? Following his explosive exit from the world of Call of Duty, Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff is coming back to Twitch. The content creator extraordinaire split the community in two but is wasting no time in making his grand return.

Known for his skills on the Call of Duty and Warzone battlefield, NICKMERCS shocked many by wading into the LGBTQ+ debate and made a seemingly off-hand comment about the community. Instead of apologising, many feel Kolcheff doubled down on his remarks, leading to his Operator bundle being pulled from the CoD store.

NICKMERCS is coming back to Twitch

NICKMERCS has had plenty of support since facing backlash, with the likes of Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar and Herschel "DrDisrespect" Beahm leading the boycotts of the CoDverse. Nearly two weeks after it all kicked off, Kolcheff is ready to rise from the trenches.

Posting an Instagram story, (via Dexerto) NICKMERCS said, "Streams are back tomorrow, [see you] soon gang." This means he's officially coming back on Monday, June 19 - marking 10 days since he last streamed. Despite this period of silence, NICKMERCS has been amassing up to two thousand new followers a day.

Although there are many who decried his comments, there are just as many who've stood by him and accused the streamer of being caught in "cancel culture." There is sure to be a swell of viewers tuning in to see what Kolcheff has to say about the situation when he returns to streaming

While many expect NICKMERCS to barrel into the situation and tell his side of the story, it's just as likely he'll brush it under the rug and just get on with things. Still, there's plenty of hype that he's coming back. Responding to the news, one fan simply wrote, "We ready 🫡."

Another added, "Welp looks like I'm using a sick day tomorrow.," while a third said, "Fuck*n right!! It's turn up time for the banger thats about to happen tomorrow." It's clear that NICKMERCS still has plenty of support, and while there will be those who call out the "boys club" of FaZe Clan, Kolcheff remains the king of the castle.
