While Vista and Departures have landed in Modern Warfare 3 Ranked as new maps, players will be keen to learn the quirks of each landscape quickly so that they can continue to grind through the levels and reach their peak as Season 2 ends.

But it's also crucial not to forget your roots, especially since Vista and Departures aren't guaranteed to be here for the long run. Instead, focusing on Karachi and Invasion might be the method to success in your Ranked lobbies.

Now, your Search and Destroy wins are destined to come thick and fast, thanks to some absolutely broken wallbang spots popularised by reigning Call of Duty League MVP Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez.

HyDra stuns Call of Duty League fans will MW3 wallbangs

In New York Subliners' most recent matches in the Call of Duty League Major II, HyDra became a sensation in Search and Destroy after picking up three outrageous kills by firing through walls.

The first two both came on Invasion, in respective bouts against Los Angeles Thieves and Los Angeles Guerrillas. By sitting in the defensive spawn building, known as Palace, the French phenom caught players planting the bomb by firing through the buildings in front of him, which appears to be rather penetrable.

The first came at B, where players will try to plant the bomb on the right-hand side of the attacker's view, covering themselves from the street view. But HyDra gunned down an LA Thieves player planting the bomb by climbing onto the palace steps in the corner of the map and firing through the building - a trick which secured the round for NYSL.

The second wallbang came at A, where he popped out of the popular front window and simply fired through the massive inaccessible building towards the bombsite, which again, killed the player planting the device.

HyDra is the wallbang king

HyDra has apparently been working these wallbang spots for hours between his already-packed scrim schedule, as his girlfriend Jen revealed he often dives into custom lobbies after his nine-hour practices.

"Top moment for me this weekend was knowing how much time Paco puts into custom lobbies behind the scenes alone every night, even after full 9-hour days of scrims just learning the maps & actually seeing that same work translating onto mainstage gave me literal goosebumps," she said on Twitter.

But Invasion wasn't his only playground. He also has a few wallbang spots up his sleeve in Karachi. The NYSL player also caught Toronto Ultra's players off-guard by slamming them through brick and mortar.

The final spot showcased in the Miami Major saw him fire through the walls of the middle building, on the B Control side of the map, catching CleanX climbing up the ladder to try and access the upper floor.

It's likely HyDra will have a few more spots up his sleeves for future Major championships, although we might have to wait for a month before seeing the next - when the CDL stars head to Toronto.

Still, if you want to be a Ranked demon, these might be the game-changers that you need when it comes to SnD. If only they stopped forcing us all onto Terminal.
