Season 4 of Warzone 2 & Modern Warfare 2 is fast approaching and both communities are gearing up for all the fresh content that's set to arrive.

With rumours of the new 'Vondel' Resurgence map and the Nikto Operator returning, it's safe to say there's a lot to look forward to.

However, some members of the community believe the devs are not fully focused on MW2 and Warzone 2 anymore.

Instead, they argue that they've been abandoned in favour of DMZ and it's causing a lot of frustration.

CoD players claim WZ2 & MW2 are being ignored for DMZ

Taking to the ModernWarfareII subreddit, user antmaster208 decided to make a post arguing that Activision no longer cares about MW2 & Warzone 2, and is looking to focus on DMZ instead.

As you would expect, this sparked a huge response from the community, with one user saying that multiplayer has been long forgotten and has 'turned into a Camo grind fest.'

Another user claimed that 'Activision is probably aware that the majority of players investing the longest playtimes are on DMZ,' so this is why they're now dedicating more resources to the mode.

Finally, one player argued that 'coop is in the worst state.' This opinion was shared by another fan who questioned 'Why even have coop if it's gonna be dead like this?'.

Of course, DMZ players took the time to make their voices heard in the thread, with one user saying 'Nothing wrong with DMZ getting love,' and another claiming 'DMZ is the only mode that I can consistently have fun in.'

One player even revealed that they bought MW2 for the multiplayer but then 'stayed for DMZ' after they tried the mode and fell in love with it.

While every seasonal update usually divides the CoD community, it's clear that WZ2 and MW2 multiplayer fans feel as if they're being neglected.

With Season 4 just around the corner, we'll just have to see if the update can ease their frustrations.
